Royal Mail Postal Strikes 2022

Royal Mail are going on strike over the next few months and, whilst I respect their decisions for this, it will potentially have a huge impact on small businesses trying to get their products out to customers in time for Christmas.

Please consider upgrading your postage to Special Delivery as those who are working over the strike period will be prioritising these.

Please order early to give your parcel good time to arrive before Christmas.

Please understand that when I have handed over your parcel to the Post Office it is then out of my hands, I have no control over how long they take to deliver and cannot refund on the basis of something arriving later than you would have liked if I have got your delivery out in a timely manner.

Please remember that I hand make all the jewellery you see here, and whilst I do keep stock of many items there are times when I will need to make your jewellery from scratch when you place your order, or I may be waiting on materials to arrive which also come via Royal Mail, or I may be making a number of orders which I will work through in priority or the date the order was placed.  You are always welcome to message me to check on a product, and remember to check your email spam/junk folder as my replies sometimes end up in there.

Check the Royal Mail website {here} for more details and up to date information.

What you can do:

  • Post your items as early as possible in advance of the strike dates
  • Continue to post your items at Postboxes or Post Offices, however collections will be less frequent on days when strike action is taking place
