Jewellery care and sizing infomation.
Each design will state the length of the necklace. If you would prefer the length to be shorter or longer then just drop me a quick message and I'll let you know if this is something I can do, mostly the reply will be yes.
I make to UK sizes. Most jewellery shops will be happy to size your fingers for you, or stop by my stall if I'm at an event near to you. Its important to remember that at the beginning of the day and when its cold your fingers will be smaller in size than towards the end of the day or whens its warm so its best to get a few measurements and/or measure the size of a ring which already fits you for that finger.
I measure my bangles across the diameter in mm. The best way to get your measurement is to measure across a bangle you may already have which fits you well.
Each design will state the length of the bracelet. If you would prefer the length to be shorter or longer then just drop me a quick message and I'll let you know if this is something I can do.
Caring for your jewellery
Sterling silver loves to be worn, it's a great way to keep it polished and shiny. It will tarnish over time with exposure to the air and various products so periodically clean with a polishing cloth, gentle soap and warm water, or a silver cleaner.
Copper is notorious for both tarnishing, turning the colour of old pennies, and for turning skin green, this is dependant on the individual as it reacts to oils in the skin along with external products. Each copper piece is coated by myself with either wax or lacquer to give a protective barrier. When this wears off either leave to naturally darken or polish and re-coat in a metal lacquer, wax or clear nail varnish.
Always take extra care when cleaning around stones. Whilst metal can be worn water it is not recommend so I'd advise to remove whilst bathing, swimming etc, and best to remove whilst applying makeup, body lotions and perfumes.
