Terms and conditions of a private workshop

Terms and conditions for booking a private workshop

[Deposits] £20 of each workshop payment is non refundable deposit.

[Cancellations and changes] If the workshop is cancelled by Zoe Ruth Designs then a transfer to another date or a refund will be offered.

If you (the customer) cancel a workshop or individual place on a group booking less than 10 days before the workshop date then no refund will be issued.  If you cancel a workshop more than 10 days before the workshop date then your individual payments will be returned minus the individual £20 non refundable deposit(s).  If you contact me to rebook at the time of cancellation I may be able to transfer your payment to a new date.  Transferring the deposit is at my discretion.

Any dropouts on a group booking still loose the deposit but you're welcome to fill that place with a new person, in which case the deposit will not be lost but any changes like that (and payments to do with changes) are sorted out by yourselves (the customers) without my (Zoe Ruth Designs) involvement.

[Insurance] The tutor holds public liability insurance to cover workshops, however each individual is responsible for their own personal health and safety.  Some points to ensure (though not an exclusive list); make sure long hair is tied back, bring and wear glasses if they are needed, closed toe shoes, clothing suitable for the workshop - it may get a little dirty.

[Set up required from customer] You (the customer) needs to provide a table to work around, glass tables are not suitable.  Sturdy dining tables, kitchen tables, worktop you are able to sit up to are all suitable, with a depth on no more than 3.5"/9cm in order to attach G-clamps to 🗜️ Chairs for each person will be required.  Table protextion boards are provided for each individual workspace.  An extra table space or seperate worktop space for soldering is required (heat proof mat will be provided), and an surface near to a plug socket to place the cleaning pot (slow cooker by appearance).

[Provided by Zoe Ruth Designs] Materials to create the jewellery and the tools required to make will be provided, tutoring through each process will be given and the jewellery will be finished in the workshop and able to be kept on the day.  The tooling and extra materials remains the property of Zoe Ruth Designs.

[Timelength of workshop] Set up for the workshop will take about 30 minutes, packing away will take about 20 minutes, all of this will be done by the tutor.  The workshop length itself will vary depending on what is being made and the number of people taking part.  Information on this suggested length of workshop can be found on the individual booking pages, or by contacting Zoe Ruth Designs.  Allowing for unexpected extensions is advisable although we will endeavour to keep workshops to the times suggested.

Booking a workshop is acceptance of these terms and conditions.
