CONTACT ME TO CHECK DATES AND RESERVE BEFORE PAYING

⭐ When you have selected your quantity select the Add to Cart button and then click on View My Cart option to add a message in the Special Instructions box.  Let me know the name of the person hosting the workshop and the date of the workshop so I can keep track. ⭐

With tutoring from Zoë you will make a sterling silver bangle, textured to your design and made to fit.  Learning a mixture of techniques you'll play with texturing, learn how to saw, shape, and solder your silver, and finish up with your beautifully handmade silver bangle.

Cost  £65 per person.

How many people  Minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 people, your space depending.

Time  This workshop takes about 3 hours, and I'll arrive half an hour beforehand to set up. Some groups take a little longer and some finish quicker, it all depends on the varied designs, different abilities and amount of chatting....which I'd naturally encourage, it's more fun when you share stories whilst you work!

Where  At your home! I bring the workshop to you and take you through each step of designing and making your own piece of jewellery in your own home, all you need is a sturdy table you can all sit round and I can clamp bench pegs on to, the end space at the table or a separate table/worktop for the soldering station, and good lighting.  I'll bring the tools, the metal and the know how.

Covering Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, and parts of the surrounding counties.  Message me here, on Facebook or on Instagram if you are unsure if you're within my area or just want to ask a question regarding workshops.

Payment is taken at time of booking.  £20 non refundable deposit can be paid to secure the date we have agreed with the remaining amount due 7 days before the workshop date or the full amount can be paid to secure the date we have agreed.  £20 of each full payment is a non refundable deposit.
If you cancel a workshop or individual place on a group booking less than 10 days before the workshop date then no refund will be issued.  If you cancel a workshop more than 10 days before the workshop date then your individual payments will be returned minus the individual £20 non refundable deposit.  If you contact me to rebook at the time of cancellation I may be able to transfer your payment to a new date.  Transferring the deposit is at my discretion.
If I cancel a workshop you will be offered a new date for your workshop, if a date can not be agreed then you will be refunded in full.
Any dropouts on a group booking still loose the deposit but you're welcome to fill that place with a new person, in which case the deposit will not be lost but any changes like that (and payments to do with changes) are sorted out by yourselves without my involvement.

The Perfect Treat

⭐ Your jewellery will come in a box or cotton pouch, with a jewellery care card and a polishing cloth, where availability allows, making the perfect gift to give or treat to yourself.

Materials

🌿 Silver I use recycled sterling silver in all my pieces.

🌿 Copper Some of my designs include copper, sometimes I leave it heat coloured and sometimes I shine it up.  I will coat the copper in clear metal lacquer or wax to slow down oxidisation.

🌿 Semi precious stones I buy my stones from a couple of selected sources who ethically source their stones.

Making and Posting

📦 I do try to keep most things in stock so you don't have to wait too long for your new jewellery. I aim to have your jewellery made, polished, packaged and at the post office in 5 working days.

📦 Each item is handmade by myself so when demand is high or if the item is in a specific size, like rings, or requires hallmarking, like bangles, then please allow 2 weeks. Message me if you are curious about a lead time before ordering.

Care Instructions

🧡 Store in a box when you're not wearing it to minimise surface tarnish.

🧡 Polish silver with a microfibre cloth to remove tarnish from the surface.

💛 Apply creams and perfume and allow to absorb before putting on your jewellery.  If it gets onto your jewellery wash in mild soapy water and dry thoroughly.

💚 Remove your jewellery before bathing or swimming, and especially in hot tubs.

💙 Take extra care when cleaning around stones.

💜 Silver will tarnish over time but on some people it will darken quicker simply due to natural oils in the skin or products used on the skin.

🤍 Copper is notorious for both tarnishing and for turning green.  The tarnish can be cleaned with a copper cleaner, or with lemon juice and salt.  The green, Verdigris, happens with moisture contact, it is not toxic and will wash off of skin with soap and water, copper can be coated with clear metal lacquer to give a barrier.

enjoyable morning with a great bangle at the end of it

I gave thesilver bangle workshop to my sister as a birthday present and my niece and husband took part too. Zoe came to the house early to set up and was very friendly and positive, making it a fun morning, but one in which they all made very professional, beautiful bangles. She explained each step clearly in advance and was very reassuring about the ability to fix any potential mistakes, so they could all enjoy it and not worry about doing anything 'wrong'. She helped when they needed it, but they each did the vast majority of it themselves.
It was excellent value for money and I would thoroughly recommend it.

  • Handmade jewellery

The beauty of handmade jewellery is that no two hammer marks are the same, each hand sawn design will be slightly different, and you know that your beautiful jewellery will have been lovingly made by me, Zoe, in my home studio for you to wear and enjoy for years to come.
